Purpose: to detect variability of absolute and relative sizes of shin bones. Materials and methods. Parameters of large and small tibial bones (n=208) of adults aged from 22 to 89 years (118 men and 90 women) have been studied. Osteo- and anthropometry methods have been applied. Results. Sexual dimorphism, age variability and bilateral dissymmetry of morphometric parameters of shin bones compared with anthropometrical parameters have been studied. Conclusion. Absolute and relative parameters of shin bones have been determined by the type of constitution.

The purpose: to reveal laws of parameters variability of cross-section changeability and cross-section-outgrowth part of a vertebral artery in aspects of age variability, sexual dimorphism and a bilateral dissymmetry. Material and methods. Investigated cross-section cuts of vertebral segments with contents ofvertebral channel and channel of a vertebral artery (n=90); Kt- and MRT-grams (n=146), cervical vertebrae (n=742) complete sets with a known sex and age. The area of cross-section section was defined. Results. Age-sexual features and a bilateral dissymmetry of the area of cross-section section of a vertebral artery and cross-section apertures of cervical vertebras are revealed. Conclusion. The transverse section foramen ofvertebral arteries gradually increases with the years, apparently, at the expense of a thickening of a wall of an artery as a result of atherosclerotic damage whereas the area of section of cross-section apertures at first increases to definitive sizes, and then decreases, probably, owing to the hyperostosis phenomena. The given parameters possess sexual dimorphism and bilateral dissymmetry.

Aims. The present research aimed the study of the fuorescence of endogenous porphyrins of the skin in patients with acne. Material and methods. 20 patients with acne of 1 – 2 degrees of severity were selected. The main research methodology was a selective colorimetry of tissues with using an electronic photographic devices. The research was led with the use of multiple flters. Image areas were synthesized with high fuorescence, and then a combination of these areas with the source image was produced. The images were processed in ImageJ. Results. The examined patients has revealed intensive red glow in the feld of acne-elements before treatment. After the work with an orange flter pictures were more informative. The study suggests that the chosen method for identifcation of quantitative composition of P. acne appears to be noninvasive and highly effcient.

Vegetative nervous system was investigated using vegetative Kerdo index, Wayne and Solovyova tables and a special questionnaire for signs of vegetative disorders. Conclusions. Syndrome revealed the presence of vegetative-vascular dysfunction in patients with rosacea with a predominance of parasympathetic tone of the autonomic nervous system. Severity of psychoemotional disorders had no direct relationship to the severity of rosacea. But patients with advanced disease had a tighter self-control on the background of increased excitability and stronger internal emotional stress. Those patients were compared with a group of patients with earlier stage disease, which may provoke functional impairments and in case of long existence-the formation of psychosomatic disorders. This comprehensive assessment of vegetative and emotional status is included in the algorithm for evaluation of patients with rosacea and will successfully complement traditional therapy.
