Objective: to assess the relationship between the occurrence of vulvovaginitis and allergies, as well as drug intake in girls in the neutral period. Material and Methods. The study included 175 girls aged 3-6 years with Tanner stage I sexual development (73 girls with BB-the main group and 102 girls without BB-the comparison group). Data on the child's health status, including weight and height indicators, concomitant somatic diseases, the frequency of acute respiratory viral infections, the presence and type of allergic reactions, as well as information about the use of medications by the girl's mother during pregnancy and the use of medications by the child, were analyzed. Results. Girls have allergies (OR = 2.27; 95% Cl: 1.18-4.36) and, first of all, sensitization to food (OR = 2.60; 95% Cl: 1.28-5.30) increases the risk of vulvovaginitis; taking multivitamins by a child reduces the risk of vulvovaginitis (OR = 0.24; 95% Cl: 0.11-0.52). 3 or more colds in the last year increase the risk of vulvovaginitis (OR = 3.12; 95% Cl: 1.22-7.96). Conclusion. The presence of allergies in a child, and especially sensitization to food, increases the risk of developing BB in girls, and taking multivitamins by a child, on the contrary, reduces the risk of developing BB.
