Summary:

Humanism and mercy, loyalty to the principles of medical service to the patient have always constituted the ethical and moral basis of Russian medicine. These qualities were especially clearly manifested in the exploits of medical staff during the Great Patriotic War. An appeal to the moral heritage of military doctors is one of the ways to preserve the traditions of Russian medicine in modern society.
