Summary:

The lymphoid structures of inguinal lymph nodes and cells of the peripheral blood of 104 Vistar male rats of both experimental and control groups have been investigated by means of modern hystological and immunohystochemical methods. It has been revealed that the delta-sleep inducing peptide (DSIP) and Semax (synthetic analogue of ACTH 4-10) preliminary injection causes emotional stress influence on the increase of proliferative and destructive mac-rophage processes in the actively functional zones of inguinal lymph nodes. The relative quantity of small lymphocytes in the germinal centers of lymphoid nodules of inguinal lymph nodes has decreased in 1,3 per hour after the emotional stress in comparison with the indices of control groups. After the injection of DSIP the quantity of small lymphocytes resistant to stress in animals has decreased insignificantly, as for rats predisposed to stress it has increased in 1,2 in comparison with the data of control groups. It has been found out that the DSIP and Semax injection decreases stressinduced condition of lymphoid cells in peripheral blood as well as in lymphoid structures of inguinal lymph nodes

Use potential of large arteries age elasticity changes for forensic medical determination of body parts of corpse

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №4 Pages: 491-493
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Short message

Summary:

The results of study of elasticity age changes of walls of right and left carotid, brachial and femoral arteries based on the autopsy material have been presented. Mathematical analysis has shown the unidirectional dynamics and absence of essential differences of indices of arterial walls elasticity between right and left equally topographically placed arteries (carotid, brachial and femoral) in various age groups. The conclusion about use perspective of age changes of arterial walls elasticity during the forensic medical expertise of fragmented bodies has been made

Summary:

The dynamics of general section changes of cardiac veins of coronary sinus system at various levels of formation in children at the age of second childhood has been studied. The research has shown that the changes of general section of cardiac veins under study correlate with topography and variants of their distribution

Summary:

45 morphometric parameters of femoral bones (n=45) have been studied. Their 3 shape variants have been picked out according to thickness-prolixity index. The peculiarities of entry angle of diaphysial artery in connection with the bone shape have been revealed. Zones of the most and the least concentration of nutrient foramen have been determined

Summary:

In the experiment on monoaxonic longitudinal distension by tensile-testing machine Tira Test 28005 (Germany) with loading unit - 100 N the general rigidity, breaking point and relative lengthening of anterior cerebral artery (АСА) of adult people have been under study. Under the microscope on transverse sections the external diameter of the artery, its wall thickness have been measured and diameter of lumen have been calculated. In total 228 АСА (132 - from corpses of men, 92-from corpses of women) have been investigated. They have been received in 16 hours after autopsy of adult people whose cause of death has not been connected with vascular cerebral pathology.
It has been revealed that right АСА is longer and narrower than left one. ACA's wall length and thickness predominate in men in comparison with women in average of 5,4 - 13,0%. With years АСА lengthens, its external diameter increases. Biomechanical parameters of ACA's wall do not have any authentic sexual differences, they don't depend on the side of the arterial ring. With years the rigidity of АСА decreases, especially in middle age. In old age its general rigidity increases. It is connected with the increase of ACA's wall thickness. The ability of АСА to lengthening doesn't depend upon age. Experimental findings may be used as criteria of age standard of morphological and biomechanical parameters of АСА

Role Of Adhesion Molecules Vcam-1 And Ve-Cadherin In Endothelium Dysfunction Development At Hemorrhagic Fever With Renal Syndrome

Heading: Biochemistry Article type: Original article

Summary:

The research goal is to determine the changes in concentration of both sVCAM-1 and VE-cadherin in blood serum of patients suffered from hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). 87 patients aged 15-65 were examined. Concentrations of both sVCAM-1 and VE- cadherin in blood serum by means of "Bender MedSystems" (Austria) ELISA test were determined. It was shown that in both medium severe and severe forms of HFRS statistically the significant rise of sVCAM-1 concentration in blood with high indices in oliguric period took place. Complicated form was characterized by high indices of sVCAM-1 level in fever period, extremely decreasing in concentration in oliguric period and tendency to normalizing in clinical convalescence period. VE-cadherin level in blood was predominantly lower than control in all the observed groups with the exception of fever period in group with medium severe disease form. Negative correlation of normal intensity between adhesion molecules levels in blood was revealed. In conclusion it is necessary to point out that high VCAM-1 expression by endotheliocytes evidences the development of an adhesion form of endothelial dysfunction, low VE-cadherin production in a base for development of angiogenic form of endothelial dysfunction and changes in expression of these adhesion molecules that have adaptive metabolic response to macroorganism of HFRS pathogenic action
