The research objective is to decrease the frequency of perinatal complications in mother, fetus and newborn. Methodology used is prospective study. Course of pregnancy, delivery, postnatal period and neonatal period has been studied at 50 women and children (the basic group), at 80 women and children (group of comparison). The state of mi-crocirculation was studied at the I- II trimesters of pregnancy before and after treatment by means of biomicroscopy of vessels of eye conjunctiva by slit lamp with computer data processing. Homocysteine was studied at the I- II trimesters of pregnancy before and after treatment, and children of The control group consisted of 63 pregnant women without complicated anamnesis and with somatic status who gave birth to 63 children. At the I trimester of pregnancy in risk groups of development of gestosis hyperhomocysteinemia, preclinical disturbances of processes of microcirculation were observed. The method of preventive treatment of gestosis in the basic group included anticoagulant - Vessl Due F, vitamin E, essenciale H, folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12. The preventive treatment was directed on stabilization of function of vessel endothelium, improvement of processes of microcirculation leading to decrease in frequency and severity of gestosis, perinatal complications in mother and newborn

5 main categories of life quality - physical activity, mental health, social and role functioning, sexual functioning - of 175 respondents who have had an abdominal pregnancy have been under study. Of these 60 women from group I have had the radical operations and 115 women from group II have undergone organ-saving operations. Patients of both groups marked the reduction of physical activity in the early postoperative period, but more severe symptoms were observed in group I patients, which was probably associated with more severe condition of patients before surgery, large extent of surgical intervention and laparotomy access. The role of women in working space and in housekeeping seems preferable in group II in comparison with patients from group I.
Changes in sexual dissatisfaction and unattractiveness are lesser in group II patients (1,0 and 1,2 points) compared with women in group I (1,5 -1,3 points). Analysis of scores of social functioning did not reveal significant differences in the compared groups of women.
In group I most respondents (57%) evaluated the current state of health as satisfactory. Most women (52.7%) in group II described it as good. 21,5% of interviewed women in group I and 1.8% of women in group II stated their condition as bad

In connection with the change of tariffication net of payment for medical personnel, i.e. paramedical and junior medical staff, the minimum income has been increased. Data received from questionnaires of paramedical and junior medical staff have revealed the fact that with time working enthusiasm decreases and tendency to material welfare increases. While young specialists are intended to find out more prestigious and well-paid place of work. The main task of managers is to provide optimal labour conditions and motivational background for high-quality and effective work of medical staff

The research goal is the comparative analysis of morbidity of sexually transmitted diseases in the Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus in dynamics in the period from 1997 till 2007. Research data have been taken from statistic documents based on observations of STD registered in the countries under study. Statistical data manipulation has been done on PC (Pentium IV) in the programme Microsoft Excel. According to the research results the morbidity indices of most STD have been decreased. The higher morbidity indices of trichomoniasis have been noticed in Russia -186,2 and in Republic of Belarus-220,4 for the population of 100 000 people. The results of research have shown that it is necessary to work out normative documents, to identify the contingent of patients and repetition factor of medical examinations to prevent the spread of STD

The research goal is to determine risk factors of periodontal disease development, psychophysiological personal types and their interrelations in clinically healthy persons. 47 first-year cadets of St.-Petersburg Military School of radio electronics have been examined. This group of respondents has been chosen by presence of such social stressor as change of place of living (97,9% cadets have arrived in St.-Petersburg from other cities and republics of the Russian Federation) and strict disciplinary conditions. The research has revealed a low level of oral hygiene, cases of mild gingivitis in most respondents. The general mental state of group under study is characterized by raised level of personal anxiety and low indices of reactive anxiety. The examined group has demonstrated anxiety, tension, indecision and lowered stress stability. Clinically healthy persons are more liable to develop inflammatory and inflammatory-destructive periodontal diseases. It was possible to determine psychophysiological features correlated with physiological parameters of risk degree of periodontal diseases. It may have a great significance in defining of periodontal disease etiology and pathogenesis

The effect of electromagnetic radiation of terahertz range at frequency of emission and absorption molecular spectrum of 150+0,75GHz nitric oxide on morphofunctional changes of microcirculation and tissue structure in animals in condition of acute and prolonged immobilization stress has been studied. It has shown that the influence of electromagnetic waves at these frequencies causes activity decrease of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal and tireoyd axis of stress reaction. It has been determined that terahertz range waves at frequency of nitric oxide are liable to restore disturbances of intravascular, vascular and extravascular components of microcirculation and also have histoprotective effect

The research goal is to study lipid peroxydation and ferments of antioxidant protection in group of patients with an acute alcohol intoxication and their correction by medicaments with antioxidant activity (mexidol, glycine and their combination). Patients with diagnosis of ethanol toxic action of moderate severity degree were under study. There were 4 groups - receiving standard therapy, standard therapy and glycine, standard therapy and mexidol, patients receiving standard therapy with combination of mexidol and glycine. Clinical condition and changes in system "lipid peroxidation - antioxidant protection» were estimated. The expressed improvement was revealed applying standard therapy with combination of mexidol and glycine

Research objective is to prove correction possibility of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system protection in neph-rolithiasis by taking pentoxifylline and mexidol. 158 patients with kidney concretion have been under the research. Distance shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL) has been carried out. Structure of stones and antioxidant system state have been investigated in all patients. They have been divided into three groups - control, receiving pentoxifylline and receiving mexidol. Influence of indicated preparations on processes of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system has been studied in case of different structure of concretion

The research goal is to carry on the comparative analysis of medicines of various chemical structure, Telmisar-tan and Bisoprolol, and to reveal their effect on the arterial blood pressure level and the indices of various metabolic processes in patients with arterial hypertension. 60 out-patients with arterial hypertension (stage II risk III) both males and females aged 33-55 have been under study taking Telmisartan and Bisoprolol for 3 months. While treating the patients the arterial blood pressure level control and biochemical investigations for determination the indices of metabolic processes have been carried out. The investigated medications have provided the decrease of systolic and diastolic arterial pressure parameters, the increase of concentration of total and ionized calcium, chlorine ions, urea and total bilirubin in blood plasma. Therapy with Telmisartan has shown more significant increase of potassium level in erythro-cytes, decrease of levels of natrium, glucose, glycolized hemoglobin and triglycerides and increased contents of alani-naminotransferase and aspartataminotransferase. The course of therapy with Bisoprolol has restored the normal level of magnesium in blood plasma, has not have any influence on carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, increased the level of alaninaminotransferase and significantly increased the contents of total and ionized calcium, urea and creatinine. 3-months therapy with Telmisartan and Bisoprolol has proved the decrease of systolic and diastolic arterial pressure in patients with arterial hypertension. The medications under study have had active and variable effects on metabolic indices
