PROTEIN C ROLE IN MICROCIRCULATION DISTURBANCE IN PATIENTS WITH GINGIVITIS

Year: 2008, volume 4 Issue: №2 Pages: 61-63
Heading: Physiology and Pathophysiology Article type: Original article
Authors: V.F. Kirichuk, T.V. Simonyan
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The research purpose is focused on studying the role of protein С system in coagulation component disturbance of hemostasis and fibrinolysis system in patients with different forms of gingivitis.
The decrease of protein С and antithrombin inactivity, the decrease ofplasminogen reserve in blood, thrombin time shortening and the resistance of factor Va Via to protein Care watched in patients with different forms of gingivitis. The most marked changes in protein С system may be observed in exacerbation phase of acute and chronic ulcerative generalized gingivitis and chronic catarrhal generalized gingivitis. The reduction of indices of protein С system doesn’t occur in remission phase except in patients with chronic catarrhal ulcera five generalized gingivitis

THE METHICILLIN-RESISTANCE MEASURE OF STAPHYLOCOCCI CLINICAL STRAINS

Year: 2008, volume 4 Issue: №2 Pages: 56-60
Heading: Microbiology Article type: Original article
Authors: N.G. Khodakova, G.M.Shub, I.G.Shvidenko
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Staphylococci playa great role in the emergence of various human illnesses. The most actual are infections caused by methicillin-resistant staphylococci.
The study of methicillin susceptibility as a polyresistance marker includes the definition of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antibiotic which in vitro fully suppresses the visible growth of microorganisms in the standard experiment conditions and is expressed in absolute figures (mg/l or mkg/ml).
The aim of the research is the measure of MIC methicillin (oxacillin) for the clinical strains of staphylococci isolated from different clinical specimens and comparative analysis antibiotic’s MIC for Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS).
The resultofthe research is the determination of the oxacillin concentration preventing growth of the methicillin-resistant clinical strains ofS.aureus and CNSwhich were detected from different profile hospitals of Saratov- general hospital №2, maternity hospital №6, children’s regional hospital and centre ofcombustiology.
The methicillin-resistant of the staphylococci clinical strains in the Saratov region has not been investigated before.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE TOMOGRAPHY AT CHOLECYSTITIS AND ITS COMPLICATIONS

Year: 2008, volume 4 Issue: №3 Pages: 139-141
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Short message
Authors: F.Z. Chanyshev, S.Sh. Dagayev
Organization: Moscow Research Institute for Endosurgery, Saratov City Clinical Hospital № 10
Summary:

The magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) was carried out for 53 patients with clinical presentations of cholecystitis.
Advantages of MRT in diagnostics of cholecystitis and its complications were studied: non-contrasting cholandiopancreatografy, with receiving of images in any projection, opportunity of carrying outof multiplanar reconstruction, intensive staining of soft tissues with receiving of three-dimensional images of bile tracts and absence of radiation sickness.

Summary:

Comparative assessmentof bloodprocalcitonin and C-reactive protein determination methods in community-acquired pneumonia has been performed. Practical advantage of C-reactive protein determination over procalcitonin one has been demonstrated. The trans-resonant functional topography in comparison with low exposure digital fluorography technique has been carried out.

RELEVANCE OF TRICHOMONIASIS PROBLEM IN WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE WITH NON-PREGNANCY CERVICITIS

Heading: Obstetrics and Gynecology Article type: Review
Authors: I.E. Rogozhina, Т.Д. Basova
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Trichomoniasis is a widespread infection characterized by polymorphism of the causative agent, polyorganic impairment of the urogenital tract, obliterated symptomatics. Frequent recurrences of trichomoniasis- induced cervicovaginitis are based on associa five relationship of Trichomonas with pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, medicamentous resistance and antigenic mimicry of the causative agent The lack of distinct evaluation criteria of the diagnostic testing results, application of the bacterioscopic method as the basic screening lead to trichomoniasis hypodiagnostics. Treatment of the disease should be obligatory carried out with systemic and local medical preparations regardless of symptomatic markedness.
