ALTERNATIVE TO THE TECHNIQUE OF TRANSOSSEOUS OSTEOSYNTHESIS OF SHIN BONE FRACTURES
Heading: Traumatology and Orthopedics Article type: Original article
Authors: A.G.Rusanov, V.V. Stadnikov
Organization: Saratov Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics
The apparatus and the technique of osteosynthesis ofdiaphyseal fractures of shin bones are presented in the article. The technique combines the possibility of bone fracture fragments position control at compression and reduction in process of cyclic loads. This treatment technique provides the optimization of reparative osteogenesis conditions, earlier restored support-motor functions of an injured limb and prevents contamination of tissues which surround transosseous elements. The constructive solutions of pin-related osteosynthesis presented in the article are adapted in topographical anatomy aspect according to the location of fractures. The technique has been applied to 124 patients with diaphyseal shin bone fractures. Positive outcomes have been recieved in 99,6% of clinical observations.

Traumatic stomatitis oforalmucosa in rabbits has been studied. Stimulatory effect ofmagnesium-containing "Polykatan” gel on thermal burn in comparison with "Polykatan" solution has been revealed. "Polykatan" solution based on solution of clean bischofite mineral is used in the therapeutic dentistry.

33 healthy children and 39 patients withjuvenile rheumatoid arthritis have been studied. The level of cryoglobulins has been up to 80 mcg/ml in healthy children (43,5+28,3 mcg/ml) being decreased with the age. The level of cryoglobulins has been accounted for 651 mcg/ml(91,2+110,2 mcg/ml) being increased with the age in children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Significant correlation between the level of cryoglobulins and activity of disease has been revealed. There were no differences of the level of cryoglobulins in children with systemic and articular forms of arthritis as wellas in children with changed and normal urine analyses.
INFLUENCE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY ON CLINICAL AND IMMUNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS IN CHILDREN WITH JUVENILE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
Heading: Pediatrics Article type: Original article
Authors: L.T. Dmitrieva, T.L. Nastausheva
Organization: Voronezh State Medical University n.a. N.N. Burdenko, Voronezh Regional Children’s Hospital №1
Clinical and immunological status has been evaluated in 85 children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (RA) before and after physiotherapeutic procedures: electrophoresis with dimexid and magnetotherapy. The control group of 31 children did not follow physiotherapeutic procedures. The following results were fixed: clinical indices and immunological status of children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis have been changed in a larger degree in case of magnetotherapy.

The objective of the research is to study neonatal adaptation in new-born children from the tobacco abused mothers. A comparative analysis of clinical and neuroendochnal status and lipid metabolism in new-born children from smoking and non-smoking mothers was carried out Neonatal adaptation disorders were revealed in new-born children from the smoking mothers.

In case of three-dimensional visualization the choice ofparacentetic trajectory for access to organs and neoplasms of abdominalcavityand retroperitoneal area can be improved in a great degree.
Three-dimensional visualization ofparacentetic trajectory and nearly located large vessels is one of the most important advantages of similar way of representation of diagnostic data. In mostcases three-dimensional representation of diagnostic data allows to choose notonlysafe, but also much shorter paracentetic trajectory.

Heading: Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics Article type: Original article
Authors: Z.S. Topchieva, G.P. Gladilin, N.I. Zryachkin
Organization: Tambov City Hospital №4, Saratov State Medical University
In this work dynamics ofinflammatoryandanti-inflammatory cytokines in blood serum of 65 patients with atrophic arthritis depending on activity, duration of inflammatory process, presence or absence of the rheumatoid factor is represented.
It is determined: that the level ofФНО-а in blood serum among patients with atrophic arthritis does not depend upon the growth of an inflammatory process’s activity and presence or absence of the rheumatoid factor, but it depends upon the clinical course’s duration. The maintenance of ИФ-у and ИЛ-4 in patients' blood serum with atrophic arthritis depends upon a degree of an inflammatory process’s activity and does not depend upon the clinical course’s duration and presence or absence of the rheumatoid factor.
