Aim: то assess the effectiveness of the combined method for the correction of early and long-existing hypertrophic scars and keloids by intrascar injection of "Longidaza ME" medication and phonophoresis. Material and methods. A combined method of correction of hypertrophic scars and keloids, comprising the introduction of the "Longidaza ME" by intrascar injection and using phonophoresis. Results. Evaluation of the results was determined based on indicators of dermatology quality of life index. When comparing long-term results positive result was noted in 90% of cases. Conclusion. The study confirmed the effectiveness of the combined method in preventing reactive growth of connective tissue and ability to cause regression of fibrosis, i.e. to correct a complex autoregulatory reactions of connective tissue, which is clinically expressed in resorption and deposition of scar.

This article discusses one of the urgent problems of modern oncology — the question of treatment of skin cancer (SC). The experience of the new promising method of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of patients with primary and recurrent skin cancer. Aim: to evaluate the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of patients with primary and recurrent skin cancer (SC). Materials. The Main Military Clinical Hospital SC treatment of upper respiratory tract with PDT performed 108 patients: 85 men, 23 women. The age of patients ranged from 43 to 92 years, averaging 71 years. 96 patients were with basal cell skin cancer (BCC) in otolaryngology 8 patients were with squamous cell carcinoma of the skin (SCSC), 4 persons — with metatipichesky skin cancer (MSC). Results. In the treatment of patients with SC otolaryngology, PDT complete resorption (CR) was 89.8%, the partial resorption (PR) — 9.3%, no effect (NE) — 0.9%. The highest efficiency was obtained in the treatment method of PDT in patients with BCC otolaryngology — 92.7%. The least effective method of PDT in the treatment of upper respiratory tract SCSC — 62.5%. Disease-free outcome was noted in 88.7% of patients SC otolaryngology. In 11.3% of cases, relapse. The highest efficiency was obtained in the treatment method of PDT in patients with BCC otolaryngology — 89.9%. The least effective method of PDT in the treatment of upper respiratory tract MSC — 66.7%. Conclusion. PDT is an effective treatment RK ENT, unlike other methods of treatment of organ-character, excellent cosmetic and functional results, high selectivity of therapeutic action, the absence of severe systemic effects on the body. The advantage of PDT compared with other treatments SC ENT is also the possibility of multiple repeating the procedure in the case of large diameter and in multiple tumor malignancy without risk of complications.

Heading: Skin Diseases Article type: Short message
Authors: Schnaider D.A., Staroverova E.N.
Organization:
The aim of the study is to examine the use of anogenital pointed condylomas combined treatment mode. The mode implies the application of the destructive method (high-frequency wave surgery) and the local immunomodulatory ointment Keravord (Imiquimod). Matherial and Methods. 14 patients with anogenital pointed condylomas were observed. The combined treatment mode of the application of the destructive method (high-frequency wave surgery) and the local immunomodulatory ointment Keravord (Imiquimod) were implied. Results. All observed patients had distinct positive results, i.e. the absence of symptomatic relapses during 6 months. Conclusion. The use of the anogenital pointed condylomas combined treatment mode by means of the application of the destructive method (high-frequency wave surgery) and the local immunomodulatory ointment Keravord (Imiquimod) is characterized by high efficiency and almost complete absence of symptomatic relapses.

Authors: Karakaeva A.V., Utz S.R.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Purpose: to study the efficacy of treatment and diagnostic complex "Elec-troMAG" as a new method of physical therapy in complex treatment of truths-term eczema. Matherial and Methods. The article presents the results of application in complex treatment of 42 patients with a diagnosis of true eczema low-intensity electromagnetic radiation. The course of treatment consisted of 12 sessions. Acomparison group (30 patients) received conventional therapy with standard doses and regimens of drugs without the use of physiotherapy therapies. The clinical efficiency was estimated on the basis of the definition of the functional state of the aquatic components of the internal environment of an organism at eczematous process and on the basis of defined-dividing the index of prevalence and severity of eczema EASI. Results. Identified a high effectiveness of low-intensity electromagnetic effect on the disease process, as evidenced by the earlier reduction of the clinical symptoms than in the comparison group, confirming the reduction of the absolute values of the index EASI. Conclusion. The obtained results suggest the safety and effectiveness of high-efficiency of this method of physical therapy treatment of eczema

The goal: to investigate the process of angiogenesis by determining the level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the blood serum of patients with lichen planus (CPL) and psoriasis. Material and Methods. The study included 50 patients with CPL, 62 patients with psoriasis and 36 were in the control group of healthy individuals. All of the participants were to determine the level of VEGF in a blood serum before treatment. Results. Patients with CPL had an increase in the level of VEGF in serum prior to 1992 pg/ml, in the patients with psoriasis — up to 1748.8 pg/ml. Level of VEGF in healthy individuals ranged from 37 to 475 pg/ml. Conclusion. When the CPL and psoriasis excessive angiogenesis is observed, elevated levels of VEGF in the serum of these patients and it is possible that vascular normalization such element of pathogenesis of psoriasis and CPL lead to stable remission of these dermatoses.

Psoriasis is a common skin disease in which the development of the decisive role played by genetic and environmental factors. Many of the candidate genes linked with psoriasis, are directly related to acquired or congenital defects of the immune system, epithelial barrier permeability of the intestinal wall, and the keratinocyte membrain. Formation of an immune response to Th-1 type high expression and activity of antimicrobial peptides like state at their potential infection. This review discusses the possible immune mechanisms are involved in the relationship between infection and disease process in psoriatic skin. We survey the literature and discuss the suitability of infection factors in treatment modality for psoriasis.
