Summary:

The important problem of higher professional education is preparation of specialists possessing skills in high technology equipment. Problem realization is directed to interdisciplinary educational research works and complex final qualifying works on for example working out of pharmaceutical preparations, biologically active additives to food and cosmetic means. The given work includes step-by-step decision of the problem put before students and it should be analogical relevant to dissertations on specialty «pharmacy». From the point of view of methodological approach concerning the choice of candidature and work theme the following categories of students according to their progress and type of personality are allocated: «stars», «fellow travelers» and «good students». On this basis various methodological approaches for work with «stars», «fellow travelers» and «good students» are considered in the article

Hemophilia is a genetically mediated disease caused by recessive transmission of the gene. At present etiological orientation in treatment of the given pathology has just begun to develop. Replacement therapy by the concentrate of blood factors is the principal method of treatment. With great success in the sphere of medicine life quality of children suffering from hemophilia has improved significantly. However, the given category of patients refers to the high risk group to render surgical care as before. The example of the surgical intervention is an intertrochanteric osteotomy of the femur in a child with hemophilia

Age aspects of inguinal hernia relapses

Summary:

The research goal is to study an age role in relapses of inguinal hernias. Relapses of inguinal hernias in 113 patients have been investigated. It is established that the elder the patient the more frequent relapses of inguinal hernias occur. Causes of relapses of inguinal hernias development are age changes in the inguinal canal structure and the tissues that take place in its formation. The article concludes that causal factors of inguinal hernia relapses are age index and structure changes of inguinal canal. It points out that plasty of posterior wall of inguinal canal is considered as a preventive measure in case of inguinal hernia relapse

Health state of female adolescents as students of colledges of primary and secondary professional education

Summary:

The article concerns somatic and reproductive health issues (menstrual cycle and functioning of mammary glands). The data has been received from of the total examination and questionnaires of female adolescents. The study has revealed 96% of orthopedic disorders and 72% of endocrine disorders. The investigation has found out that 97% of girls have had menstrual disorders. Dysmenorrhea has been observed in 84% of patients. The study demonstrated that 57% of girls had the cyclic (premenstrual) and 20% girls had the persistent mastalgia. The dysplasia of mammary glands was diagnosed in 92% of patients. The hypodynamia, smoking and pessimism are more typical for female adolescents

Dependence of patients' life quality on severity of oral pathology: optimization of treatment approaches

Summary:

The research goals include: 1) assessment the quality of life of those patients who have defects of tooth rows not replaced by orthopedic appliances on the basis of the complex analysis; 2) choice of more reasonable method of treatment. The use of dental questionnaires such as Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) while treating oral pathology allows both optimizing an approach to choosing an appropriate treatment method and making more successful prognosis as to the efficiency of treatment being performed. The quality of life of those patients who have tooth rows defects not replaced by orthopedic appliances depends on sex, age, family status, employment and extent of tooth rows defects. Patients with tooth rows defects not replaced by orthopedic appliances accompanied by diseases of peri-odontium are characterized by worse quality of life. This fact must be taken into consideration while planning patients' treatment

Summary:

The purpose of the study is to determine clinical and pathogenetic efficacy of cycloferon liniment in the combined therapy of periodontitis of patients with focal tuberculosis. It is proved, that use of liniment Cycloferon in the combined treatment of patients with focal tuberculosis allows to accelerate process of normalization of parameters of lipid per-oxidation and antioxidant potential of blood, to decrease infection (herpes symplex virus I, Candida albicans, staphylo-coccus aureus) in parodontal pockets and local inflammation with reduction of activity of factor tumours necrosis and interleukin 1b. It leads to soon recovery and decrease of frequency of parodontitis recurrences
