Summary:

The results of treatment of 180 patients with various diseases of organs of abdominal cavity and associated obesity were studying. Anthropometry with calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI) has performed in all patients. 527 histological preparations of skin and subcutaneous tissue from 56 patients were studying. In patients with associated obesity in postoperative period wound complications was most frequently (30.5%). Morphological features of structure of skin and subcutaneous tissue, which are influenced on wound healing and may be the predisposed factors for the development of wound complications in the conditions of tissue compression, has determined in the patients with associated obesity.
