Summary:

Purpose: assessment the heavy psychosomatic and all-somatic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular pathology of patient, transferred an acute I degree radiation sickness, from the general evenly gamma-beta radiation. Conclusions. The subdepressive and disturbing-depressive syndrome of patient, transferred an acute radiation sickness (ARS) of I degree, from the general evenly gamma-beta radiation, was independent risk factor of development of multifocal atherosclerosis; Features of development of all-somatic and psychosomatic pathology of patient are based on a combination of genetic prerequisites, environment influences (the stress caused by accident on the ChNPP) and social factors, influencing on him during a course of life, especially during early socialization. Thus at development of psychosomatic frustration the combination of feature of the mental reaction connected with the personal characteristic and special relationship between mental (stress) and physiological (somatic) by aspects of reaction which led to metabolism violation, to aging, decrease in adaptation opportunities of an organism and development age — dependent pathology took place.

Analysis of changes in white matter of brain and cognitive disturbances in patients with chronic heart failure and ischemic heart disease

Year: 2013, volume 9 Issue: №1 Pages: 78-82
Heading: Neurology Article type: Original article
Authors: Shvarts Y.G., Akimova N.S., Martynovich Т.V.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The aim of the article is to study the relation of chronic heart failure, cognitive disturbances and changes in white matter of brain. Material et methods: Cognitive tests, echocardiography, MRI of brain and measurement of NT-proBNP in venous blood have been performed in 57 patients with l-IV functional class of chronic heart failure. Program STATISTICA 7 (methods of nonparametric correlation analysis) has been used to assess the results. Results: It has been established that during the increase of severity of CHF decrease in the thickness of medium-sized peduncles of cerebellum and the changes of coefficients of diffusion of water molecules in white matter have been marked. Conclusions: On the basis of these findings it has been determined that CHF is an independent cause of micromorphological brain damage and later the progressive atrophy of white matter. It clearly shows that the cerebral changes cause cognitive dysfunction.

Influence of personality characteristics on spectrum of catecholamines and course of ischemic heart disease in elderly patients

Year: 2012, volume 8 Issue: №4 Pages: 942-946
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Original article
Authors: Prokhorenko I.О., Zarubina Е.G.
Organization: Samara Medical Institute «Reaviz»
Summary:

Purpose: the study of interrelation between characteristics of psychological profile of elderly patients, level of stress hormones in blood serum and character of IHD course. Materials and Methods. The level of catecholamines and cortisol in blood was investigated in two groups of elderly patients (379 patients) formed according to their psychological profile with the help of Cattell questionnaire. Multispiral coronarography was conducted in patients suffering IHD. Results. The established differences of stress level correlated with the characteristics of the course of IHD at all the
examined patients. In spite of various levels and reactions of adaptive hormones on stress situations the prevalence of IHD appeared to be the same in both groups although manifestation and clinical severity of coronary insufficiency varied in patients of different groups. The number of patients suffered myocardial infarction, among them with Q-wave, occurred to be higher in one of the groups despite the fact that changes in their coronary arteries were less expressed. Conclusion. The character of psychological profile causes different stress resistance of patients and leads to various levels of stress hormones in blood serum. Depression can become a marker of severe course of cardiovascular pathology. The character of psychological profile influences the course of IHD.

Anemic syndrome in patients with ischemic heart disease and chronic heart failure (review)

Year: 2011, volume 7 Issue: №4 Pages: 831-837
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Review
Authors: Kaluta Т.Yu., Suvorova S.A., Shvarts Y.G.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Anemic syndrome of different severity often accompanies ischemic heart disease (IHD) and chronic heart failure (CHF). Anemia has association with unfavorable prognosis in patients with all forms of CVD — acute and chronic. In this article the authors summarize a literature review of English articles dedicated to the problem of anemia and ischemic heart disease (IHD) and the results of original research on the relationship between anemic syndrome and prognosis in the hospitalized patients with IHD and chronic heart failure (CHF). Anemia is frequently observed in patients with CHF, and evidence suggests that anemia might be associated with an increased mortality in both systolic and diastolic chronic heart failure (CHF), morbidity and rate of hospitalization in CHF patients. Moreover, CHF itself could be involved in the pathogenesis of anemia. Early studies suggested a pathogenic role of inflammation mediators. The normalization of hemoglobin concentration by EPO and iron supply in patients with CHF and chronic renal insufficiency results in improved exercise capacity by increasing oxygen delivery and improving cardiac function. However, there is limited information concerning the association of hemoglobin concentration and new onset of clinically recognized coronary artery disease, and lack of information about the effect of anemia treatment on prognosis of acute forms of IHD

Clinical way method in treatment of out-patients with ischemic heart disease after cardiosurgery

Year: 2010, volume 6 Issue: №4 Pages: 824-828
Heading: Sociology of Medicine Article type: Original article
Authors: Vardosanidze S.L., Galstyan A.S.
Organization: Stavropol State Medical University
Summary:

158 patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) have been understudy during the period of 12 months in out-patient conditions. After completion of the primary examination all the patients of basic group (118 patients) received clinical way method of treatment. Patients of the comparison group (40 patients) after provided treatment were cared by their local therapeutists (cardiologists). The findings proved the fact that treatment of patients after cardiosurgery by clinical way method in out-patient conditions enabled to raise patient motivation to treatment, thereby assisting them to feel better, promoting normalization of arterial pressure data. The research results stated that clinical way method of treatment may be considered as rational and effective

EXRIMENTAL AND CLINICAL USING OF CELL TECHNOLOGIES IN CARDIOLOGY

Year: 2006, volume 2 Issue: №3 Pages: 46-52
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Review
Authors: Smolyaninov A., Kirillov D., Bulgin D., Kovanko G.
Organization: St. Petersburg Medical University named after academician I.P.Pavlov
Summary:

Heart diseases, and firstly ischemic heart disease and myocardial infarction, cause cardiomyocites death in the way of necrosis and apoptosis. Ability of myocardium to in self-renewing and regeneration is limited, the same way as therapeutically possibilities of prevention it`s remodeling. This loss of cardiomyocites is the leading factor of decrease of pumping function of heart and formation of chronically heart failure and dilated cardiomypathy. Limited ability of human cardiomyocites in proliferation and regeneration can not prevent scar formation and decrease of contractile ability after myocardial infarction. Substitution and regeneration of myocardial structures is significant purpose, it can be reached in the way of stimulation of auto logical cardiomyocites or transplantation of stem cells or skeletal myoblasts. Realization of the fact that myocardium has ability to regenerative process, conditioned in last years generate interest in using stems cells in cardiology. The way of using of stem cells in treatment cardio-vascular disease is aggressively developing in last ten years. In this period experimental outcomes were very convincing, and so this approach start to use in clinical practice.
