Heading: Pediatrics Article type: Original article
Authors: N.V.Bolotova, S.V.Hudoshina, U. M. Raygorodskiy
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The clinical data on application of magnetotherapy in treatment of diabetic peripheral polyneuropathy in 75 children (40 girls, 35 boys) of 7 - 10,5 y.o. with diabetes mellitus I type. 30 patients got the correction ofglycemia level. 30 children received with correction of a carbohydrate exchange of therapy running pulse magnetic field in a pulse mode with an induction of a field 45mTI and frequency of 10-16 Hz, appointed to area of shins. The rest 15 children received effect placebo. The usage of magnetic field of the specified parameters, with direction of field along a neurovascular bunch, allowed to increase conductivity of peripheral nerves in 1,5-2 fold with compared start values during one course of magnetotherapy

Summary:

The way of artificial contrastment of peripheral nerves by non ionic water-soluble contrasts «Omnipaque-ЗОО» and «Ultravist-ЗОО», has shown high informaticy and simplicity of performance is developed in experiment. Contrast substance entered under epineuria of a nerve trunk to degree of hard filling ofepineural tubes and x-ray pictures performers. Experimenta researches have shown, that using of non-ionic contrast substance «Omnipaque-ЗОО» and «Ultravist-ЗОО» have low histitoxicit. in relation to tissues of peripheral nerves.

EXPERIMENTAL GROUNDS OF THE USAGE OF RETINALAMIN IN THE TREATMENT OF THE PARTIAL OPTIC ATROPHY

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №1 Pages: 77-79
Heading: Ophtalmology Article type: Original article
Authors: Kamenskikh Т.G., Bashkatov A.N., Tuchin V.V., Genina E.A.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Purpose: to study the sclera permeability as the most significant tissue barrier in the local application of medicines in ophthalmology for Retinalamin in vitro. Materials and methods. 23 rubbit's sclera samples were taken for the research in vitro. The water solution of Retinalamin has been tested too. The radiation reflected from sclera has been controlled by the system of receiving fibers of fiber optics probe and has been registered by optical multichannel analyzer (LESA- 5). Results: The experimental research makes it possible to assume that the full penetration of Retinalamin through sclera after the parabulbar injection lasts 3 hours.
