Summary:

Objective: the establishment changes in the structure of the causes of violent death in Saratov from 2011 till 2015. Material and Methods. The examination was based on analysis of the results of the forensic medical expert researches of corpses in the Saratov city office of forensic medical examination of corpses in the period from 2011 to 2015. Results. The structure of the causes of violent death was identical in Saratov in the last five years. The mechanical trauma was a leader, in second place — poisonings, then — mechanical asphyxia and external factors. There were two trends in the dynamics of components of each type of violent death: positive and negative. Positive trends were expressed as a decrease in the proportion of deaths from poisoning by ethanol and reducing the number of deaths from alcohol intoxication from other causes. Negative trends were expressed as the increase in the number of forensic medical expert examinations in the last two years, an increasing share of violent death of children in 2015, maintaining the leading position of automotive trauma among deaths from injuries by blunt objects. Conclusion. The number of forensic medical examinations of corpses was increased in Saratov for the studied period, but the proportion of fatal poisoning with ethanol was decreased. In 2015, the share of violent death of children aged under 14 was increased.

Particle morphology of hydroxyapatite and its influence on the properties of biocomposite plasma coatings

Year: 2013, volume 9 Issue: №3 Pages: 441-445
Heading: Stomatology Article type: Original article
Authors: Melnikova I.P., Lyasnikova A.V., Lyasnikov V.N.
Organization: Saratov State Technical University
Summary:

The purpose of the article is to identify patterns of change in the properties of biocompatible coatings during modernization of its structure by changing the morphology and crystallinity of the starting powder particles of hydroxyapatite (HA) for agglomeration and subsequent grinding. Material and methods. We investigated the morphology, degree of crystallinity and internal tension in HA powder with a particle size of 40-90 microns in the initial state and after the agglomeration process and structure piasmasprayed HA coatings application methods ray analysis (XRF and XRD) on DRON-3, infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR spectrometer Nicolet 6700), optical (MIM-8) and atomic force microscopy (SMM-2000), the laser microprobe (Spectrum 2000). Results: It was shown that change in particle morphology HA agglomerated and subsequently grinding increases the uniformity of the porous structure, its crystallinity, reduce internal stresses developing surface morphology of the coating and its nanostructuring. Conclusion. It is recommended for the improvement of characteristics of the porous structure (uniformity, strength, adhesion), and the surface morphology of implant to use agglomerating starting powders and their subsequent grinding.

Prevalence and structure of dento-maxillary anomalies in students of Ufa

Year: 2011, volume 7 Issue: №1 Pages: 291-292
Heading: Stomatology Article type: Short message
Authors: Zubareva A.V., Shkuratova I.A.
Organization: Bashkir State Medical University of the Russian Health Care
Summary:

On the basis of clinical stomatologic examination of 367 students of institute of higher education in Ufa at the age from 16 to 29 years it is established, that prevalence of dento-maxillary anomalies makes 62,9%. In structure combined anomalies are prevailing - 46,3%. Among anomalies of occlusion overjet occur more often - 42,9%. High prevalence of dento-maxillary anomalies requires improving the complex of treatment and prophylaxis actions for this category

Morbidity Of Sexually Transmitted Diseases In The Russian Federation And Republic Of Belarus (From 1997 Till 2007)

Summary:

The research goal is the comparative analysis of morbidity of sexually transmitted diseases in the Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus in dynamics in the period from 1997 till 2007. Research data have been taken from statistic documents based on observations of STD registered in the countries under study. Statistical data manipulation has been done on PC (Pentium IV) in the programme Microsoft Excel. According to the research results the morbidity indices of most STD have been decreased. The higher morbidity indices of trichomoniasis have been noticed in Russia -186,2 and in Republic of Belarus-220,4 for the population of 100 000 people. The results of research have shown that it is necessary to work out normative documents, to identify the contingent of patients and repetition factor of medical examinations to prevent the spread of STD
