Integrated assessment of inflammatory process accompanying community-acquired pneumonia by means of radiometry

Year: 2011, volume 7 Issue: №4 Pages: 817-822
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Original article
Authors: Arzhnikov V.V., Lifshits V.В., Parfenyuk V.K., Terekhov I.V., Solodukhin K.A., Kondratjev A.S.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Saratov State Cardiosurgical Centre, Saratov Hospital MIA, Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy, Department of Medicine
Summary:

The purpose of the article is to analyze possibility of active SHF radiometry use for inflammation monitoring in lower departments of lungs. Materials and methods: Analysis of humoral immunity (cytokine, complement and immunoglobu-lin status), angiogenesis, and modifications of extracellular matrix has been made by immune-enzyme method. Serum concentration of IL-1(3, IL-1Ra, TGF-(31, C3 and C5a components of complement system and lg M, lg G, VEGF-A, ММП-13 and TIMMP-2 has been estimated in the research. Intensity of radiation of lungs has been studied. Results: Synchronism of radiation dynamics with molecular markers has been determined. The period of changes of specified mediators is about 2 days. Critical time points of pathological process (3, 6, 8, 11 and 16 days) have been found out. Conclusions: It has been proved that SHF radiation of lungs may be applied in treatment of pneumonia for pathology monitoring

On the optimization of clinicosonographic and biochemical diagnostics of gall-bladder disease

Year: 2010, volume 6 Issue: №3 Pages: 607-611
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Original article
Authors: N.V. Yekimova, Yu.l. Skvortsov, V.B. Lifshits, V.G. Subbotina, N.Yu. Papshitskaya, M.L. Tiunova, L.M. Chibrikova, I.D. Pavlischeva, D.S. Timofeev

Summary:

Determination of serum lipidic spectrum (increase of total cholesterol, atherogenic rate) for dynamic control of possible transformation in cholelithiasis is necessary to be included in examination of patients with cholecystitis. Changes in serum lipidic level (increase of total cholesterol, rate of total cholesterol to cholesterol of lipoproteins of high density and decrease of lipoproteins of high density) in healthy people promote forming risk group of gall-bladder cholestherosis

Important issues of alcoholic liver disease prognosis

Year: 2010, volume 6 Issue: №1 Pages: 094-100
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Review
Authors: S.P. Sernov, V.B. Lifshitz, Yu.I. Skvortsov, V.G. Subbotina, A.G. Martynova, L.S. Sulkovskaya, V.I. Shulgin, L.A. Suchilina
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Saratov Psychiatric Hospital
Summary:

Alcoholic liver disease prognosis has not been thoroughly developed yet. The possibility of morphologic prognosis has been limited due to disadvantages of liver biopsy. Insignificant amount of studies is devoted to laboratory methods. prognosis value of serum markers of liver fibrosis at the last cirrhotic stages is widely considered in the medical literature. at the same time the results of treatment are determined by making a diagnosis

Epidemiology Of Alcoholic Liver Disease

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №4 Pages: 564-568
Heading: Reviews Article type: Review
Authors: С.П. Сернов, В.Б. Лифшиц, В.Т. Субботина, Н.Ю. Папшицкая, А.Г. Мартынова, К.Г. Аредаков В.И. Шульгин
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Saratov Psychiatric Hospital
Summary:

One of the main factors of chronic liver disease is alcohol. The level of alcoholic liver disease incidence and cirrhosis mortality has increased considerably in the recent years in many countries. The risk of development and disease progression are determined by the effect of endogenous and exogenous factors: "drinking mode", female gender, heredity and genetic predisposition, obesity, concomitant viral hepatitis

Etiopathogenesis of Cholelithiasis and gallbladder cholesterosis

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №3 Pages: 337-341
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Review
Authors: N.V. Yekimova, V.B. Lifshits, V.G. Sub-botina, N.Yu. Papshitskaya, L.S. Sulkovskaya
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The article deals with the contemporary data on etiology and pathogenesis of cholelithiasis, the stages of biliary pathology (motorotonic disturbances of gallbladder and sphincteric apparatus of anhepatic biliary tracts — chronic acalculous cholecystitis — cholelithiasis). The factors, affecting the gallbladder stones formation are described.
The problems of pathogenesis of gallbladder cholesterosis are reviewed. The authors come out with an assumption, that disturbances in cholesterol metabolism in the human body play the leading role in the development of this disease.
