Summary:

The research goal is to study of blood lipid profile for different types of feeding in infants with low birth weight (LBW), very low birth weight (VLBW) and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) at birth, receiving breast milk or special mixes, to determine whether correction of their food. Material and Methods. The dynamic study of cholesterol (CS), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoproteins (HDL) and low-density lipoproteins (LDL) was carried out depending on the type of feeding in low-weight infants of different weight categories. The concentration of these lipid components was determined using the test of Liquick Cor-CHOL; Liquick Cor-TG; CORMAY HDL DIRECT systems. Results. This study showed that newborns with extremely low birth weight with intrauterine growth retardation and newborns with very low birth weight had significantly lower levels of lipid profile than infants with low birth weight (CS — by 11-17%, TG — by 18-27%, HDL — by 33-47%, LDL— by 14%). Conclusion. Extremely low birth weight newborns with intrauterine growth retardation (IGR) and very low birth weight newborns need early correction of lipid metabolism throughout the neonatal period.

Nutrition of low birth weight infants

Year: 2013, volume 9 Issue: №4 Pages: 720-725
Heading: Pediatrics Article type: Review
Authors: Kadymova I.I., Bochkova L.G.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The article is concerned with the current state of nutrition of low birth weight infants. Anatomo-physiological features of digestive system of heterogeneous cohort of low birth weight infants are given. The article presents the description of metabolism of basic food ingredients in neonatal age. The analysis of efficiency of modern methods of enteral and parenteral nutrition of newborns with morphofunctional immaturity has been carried out. The necessity of complex programming of specific nutrition schemes for low birth weight infants of different weight categories has been proved in the work. The method of complex programming will guarantee safe survival of low birth weight infants.

Clinical features of pneumocystic pneumonia in newborns

Year: 2012, volume 8 Issue: №4 Pages: 962-965
Heading: Pediatrics Article type: Original article
Authors: Bochkova L.G., Ayberman A.S., Gasanova T.A.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The research goal is to study clinical features and incidence of pneumocystic pneumonia in newborns. The research methods: The research has included 227 newborns with pneumocystic pneumonia: 154 (67,8%) — premature, 64 (28,1 %) — mature with intrauterine growth retardation with body weight from 2232,0 up to 2840,0 gr., and 9 (3,9%) — mature without intrauterine growth retardation. The indication of Pneumocystiscarini has been carried out by means of immunofluorescence with «Pnevmocistofluoskril» polyclonal antibodies by ZAO Niarmedik+, as well as stained by Romanovsky Giemsa technique and by Toluidine Blue. Results: Clinical and microbiological aspects of pneumocystic pneumonia in newborns of different maturity have been studied. The frequency of pneumocystic infection agent separation during the neonatal period has been characterized. Conclusion: The received data have indicated the potential intrauterine agent transmission from mother to infant. The high risk of generalization of the given infection form in newborns has been observed. It has been pointed out that biotopes are the most relevant means in neonatal pneumocystosis diagnostics.

Eextremely low birth weight newborn

Year: 2010, volume 6 Issue: №3 Pages: 640-646
Heading: Pediatrics Article type: Review
Authors: Bochkova L.G.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The article analyses the modern state and the history of the extremely low birth-weight newborns problem. The specific medical characteristics of these newborns, connected with their morphofunctional immaturity, are presented. Definitions, diagnostics criteria and main sectors of medical care for patients with typical disorders of neonatal adaptation for this group are given. Substantial reasons for creating a complex program of early medical care are given, and the tasks of this program are formulated. Solving these tasks will provide safe survival of the extremely low birth-weight infants

Summary:

The purpose of the present research was studying features of current of the pregnancy and sorts of 125 women and their influence on the development of the infection of the uric system of the newborns.
The preconditions to the development of development of the infection of the uric system in the newborn are formed in the period of intra-uterine development and defined on the one hand by features of the development of the uric system of the fetus and on the other hand – a condition of the parent organism.
From the fetus most often came to light pyeloectasia – in 42,9% of supervision, hydronephrosis – in 22,4% and megaurether - 20,4% .
The risk factors from the parent organism are: hereditary aggravate on the disease of kidneys in the family ,chronic inflammatory disease of the bodies of a small basin ,presence a herpes-virus of the infection ,the aggravation of the chronic inflammatory process , transferred ОРВИ during of the pregnancy , the placentofetal insufficiency, premature birth.
Significant percent intra-uterine hypotrophy and infection , confirm pathogenic action hypoxia and mixt-infection on the formation of a pathology the uric system of the fetus and the newborn and emphasize necessity of the forecasting and preventive maintenance of the given complication.
