Year: 2012, volume 8 Issue: №2 Pages: 560-563
Heading: Neurology Article type:
Authors: Sholomov I.I., Lutoshkina E.B., Gerasimov S.V., Salina E.A.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Regional Hospital
Summary:

Aim of the study. The authors assessed the state of the nervous system in patients with primary hypothyroidism before and after the treatment. Materials and methods. In 115 patients studied in detail the neurological and neuro-psychological status, to assess the status of the peripheral nervous system was performed electroneuromyography. Results. These results indicate that obligate the defeat of the nervous system in primary hypothyroidism, for the correction of which can be successfully used by neurotrophic agents. Conclusion. The study assessed the condition of the nervous system in patients with primary hypothyroidism before and after the treatment. The goal set at the beginning of the study, has been achieved.

Changes of functional status of masticatory muscles in the process of treatment based on the results of electromyographic analysis of patients with distal occlusions

Year: 2010, volume 6 Issue: №3 Pages: 671-674
Heading: Stomatology Article type: Original article
Authors: Lepilin A.V., Konnov V.V., Listopadov М.А., Arushanyan A.R.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The research work is dedicated to study of bioelectric activity of masticatory muscles of adult patients with distal occlusions. The research is based on the results of electromyographic analysis of bioelectric activity of masticatory muscles of 47 patients with distal occlusions. The results of electromyographic analysis have allowed establishing the criteria of masticatory muscles adaptation to new functional conditions of masticatory system formed in the process of treatment of patients with distal occlusions. The established criteria can be used to define objectively the duration of masticatory muscles adaptation period during the stages of complex treatment of patients with distal occlusions

Diagnostics Of Renal Hemodynamics Disturbance In Children And Teenagers With Chronic Constipation, Encopresis And Their Correction

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №4 Pages: 622-625
Heading: Urology Article type: Original article
Authors: A.L. Malykh
Organization: Ulyanovsk Central Sanitary Clinical Hospital
Summary:

The article gives the detailed issue of results of complex inspection of 90 children and teenagers aged 4-17 with problems of chronic constipation, incontinence and encopresis. Ultrasonic screening has shown various pathology in the functional condition of arterial renal vessels. The method of biological feedback has been considered as prospective method of treatment excluding medication of bladder and small bowel dysfunction. The efficiency of the method was marked at combination of encopresis and incontinence. The purpose of the present research was the study of renal hemodynamics disturbances and working out methods of their correction. The examination included ultrasonic investigation, electromyography and uroflowmetry. The study of functional condition of anterior abdominal wall muscles and pelvic floor muscles was performed by means of «Miomed - 938». All patients received complex therapy on the basis of which the method of biological feedback was used

Functional Muscular Condition Dynamics at Osteoarthrosis Conservative Treatment of Major Joints of Lower Extremities

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №2 Pages: 250-254
Heading: Traumatology and Orthopedics Article type: Original article
Authors: N.V. Sazonova, М.S. Sayfutdinov
Organization: Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center «Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics»
Summary:

The method of global electromyography has been used for the evaluation of 231 patients aged from 16 to 74 (43,7±0,8) with bilateral osteoarthrosis of major joints of lower extremities I-III degrees before the course of conservative treatment, immediately after the end of conservative treatment and in three months. Conservative treatment of patients with osteoarthrosis of major joints of lower extremities has been shown to cause restructuring of EMG patterns of maximal voluntary muscle contraction in lower extremities accompanied by decreased asymmetry of activity levels in muscle pairs and less observations of pathologically changed EMG that results in improved functional condition of the locomotor system.
