Summary:

Objective: to evaluate effectiveness, safety and feasibility of using modern domestic ASD-containing liposomal cosmetics (all type shampoo and balm for dry scalp) in combined treatment of psoriasis patients with scalp involvement. Material and Methods. Sixty three patients (35 women and 28 men) with disseminated guttate-plaque psoriasis with scalp involvement were observed in Saratov Regional Clinical Dermatovenerologic Dispensary. The disease was in the stage of progression in all patients. All type shampoo and balm for dry scalp were included in the treatment regimen of all patients, while no other topical preparations were used on the scalp. Results. We observed good therapeutic and cosmetic effect in all patients, who encountered noside effects during the use of ASD-containing liposomal cosmetics. Conclusion. Combined scalp skin care with the use of modern domestic ASD-containing cosmetics will help doctor and patient to achieve the optimal result in treatment of psoriasis with scalp involvement, effectively eliminating main symptoms of the disease in a shorter time, improving patients' quality of life and giving them opportunity to lead normal life and feel comfortable in society.

Summary:

Aim: preliminary studies have made it possible to establish for the polymer a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and to attribute it to low-toxic compounds. Material and Methods, the paper presents a comparative evaluation of the treatment of mild and moderate acne with the standard preparation adapalen+clindamycin and cosmetic product Mellisol to change the indices of the dermatological acne index (DAI). Results. The use of the cosmetic product "Mel-lisol" contributed to a significant reduction in the indices of CFU of bacteria. Conclusions. Using of the cosmetic product "Mellisol" is effective in the treatment of acne and showed its high efficacy and safety in the treatment of patients with mild and moderate acne.

The first clinical experience of nanostructured propolis usage in treatment of patients with microbial eczema

Year: 2016, volume 12 Issue: №3 Pages: 500-504
Heading: Dermatovenerology Article type: Case report
Authors: Schnaider D.A., Utz S.R., Zayarskiy D.A., Gus'kova O.P., Gorokhovskiy A.V.
Organization: Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov, Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

One of the most common forms of eczema is microbial eczema constituting 12-27% of all the cases of eczema. Application of nanotechnology in the field of medicine, including dermatology and cosmetology continues to increase. An example of innovation, demonstrating the results of research within the chemical technology and practical dermatology and cosmetology is a cosmetic product based on nanostructured systems "core — shell", which is an aqueous dispersion of nanoscale flavonoid "cores", derived from natural propolis which are stabilized by polyelectrolyte "shell". The purpose of this work is to conduct primary research on cosmetic product "Mellisol" on the basis of composite structures "core — shell" stabilized by polyelectrolyte membrane, for its application in the complex therapy in the treatment of microbial eczema. Description of these cases under clinical observation shows high efficacy and safety of cosmetic product "Mellisol" in the treatment of patients with microbial eczema in its acute phase.

Psychocorrection activities in complex therapy of patients with psoriasis

Year: 2015, volume 11 Issue: №3 Pages: 466-471
Heading: Dermatovenerology Article type: Short message
Authors: Filonova A.V., Utz S.R., Schneider D.A., Guskova O.P.
Organization: SEH «Saratov regional dermatovenerologic dispensary», Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Aim: to examine the psycho-emotional state of patients with psoriasis and to choose the optimal methods of correctional interventions with patients and their family-relatives. Materials and methods. The study included 230 patients with various different forms of psoriasis (150 men and 80 women, mean age 42±2,3) and 183 of their cohabitating relatives. The method of С D. Spielberg and J. L. Khanin was used for the assessment of anxiety degree, quality of life assessment (SF-36 health status survey), as well as a questionnaire, elaborated by our team, for patients with psoriasis. Results. After psychocorrection events in the patients there were noticed the following: decreased anxiety, increased vitality, improved relationships with loved ones, improved emotional state. Conclusion. When using psychotherapy in combination with medication, psoriasis treatment becomes more effective: reduced levels of anxiety, increased life activity, interaction with loved ones becomes more confident, improves emotional state.

The effeciency of combined laser therapy in complex treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis

Year: 2015, volume 11 Issue: №3 Pages: 396-400
Heading: Dermatovenerology Article type: Short message
Authors: Moskvin S.V., Utz S.R., Schneider D.A., Guskova O.P.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, The Governmental research center for laser therapy, FMBA of the Russian Federation, Moscow
Summary:

Objective: to access the effectiveness of treatment methods in patients with atopic dermatitis, including every alternate day intravenous blood exposure of a low-intensity laser (LIL) with a wavelength of 365 nm (LUFOK) and 525 nm (green spectrum). Materials and methods. We observed 37 patients with atopic dermatitis (10 females and 27 males) with age ranging from 18 to 56 years (mean age 36.2) with duration of disease ranging from 17 to 54 years. In the main group in the complex therapeutic measures has been included traditional method of laser therapy with Laser therapeutic apparatus "Lazmik-VLOK" (registration certificate number RZN 2014/1410 of 02.06.2014) laser emitting heads VLOK CL-365-2 (for LUFOK) and CL-525-2 VLOK intravenous blood laser flash coverage. For VLOK we used disposable sterile radiation emitters KIVL-01 TU 9444-005-72085060-2008 Production Research Centre "Matrix" (Moscow, Russia). Results. It is shown that the combined intravenous laser LLLT treatment of blood with a wavelength of 365 nm (or 365-VLOK LUFOK) and LLLT with a wavelength of 525 nm (green spectrum VLOK-525) through 10 sessions per day in treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis allows you to get full regression of acute inflamatory symptoms of the disease like — erythema, papules, scaling, excoriations in 87.5% of patients with moderate-severe course of the disease (average index SCORAD 57,5±4,0) and reduce 3.4 times the average index SCORAD (up 21,3±4,0) in patients with severe disease course (original value 72,8±3,0) with an overall positive trend. Conclusion. The use of combined methods of physiotherapy in atopic dermatitis is justified and effective.
