Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: Fomkina О.А., Ivanov D.V., Kirillova I.V., Nikolenko V.N.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Saratov state university
Summary:

The purpose is to consider the biomechanical modelling of cerebral arteries at different structural variants of intracranial arteries of vertebrobasilar system. Material and methods. By means of the system of the final and element analysis ANSYS on the basis of data on geometry, morphometricand biomechanical properties of cerebral arteries their biomechanical models have been constructed. On the received models for 9 structural variants of intracranial arteries of vertebrobasilar system, haemodynamic parameters and parameters of the intense deformed condition of walls of arteries have been analyzed. Results. The most frequent variant of a configuration of intracranial department of vertebrobasilar system is the combination of average in size of angles of connection of vertebrata and bifurcation of basilar arteries. Such option occurs in 49% of cases. More rare variant (1,5% of cases) with the narrow angles of connection of vertebrata and bifurcations of basilar arteries has been observed. The design of intracranial arteries of vertebrabasi-lar system exerts an impact on distribution of bloodflow and effective tension in a vascular wall of back brain arteries. Conclusion. According to the study it has been determined that the constructed individual biomechanical models may provide information on some parameters of haemodynamics and the intense deformed condition of a vascular wall which causes the development of atherosclerosis and intracranial aneurisms.

Authors: Bikbaeva T.S., Aleshkina O.Yu., Nikolenko V.N. Fomkina O.A.
Organization: First Moscow State Medical University n.a. I.M. Sechenov, Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Objective: to determine the volume and direction of correlations of length of the proximal phalanges of the 2-5th fingers of the hand with osteometric parameters of phalanges of like fingers. Material and Methods. The length of proximal, medium and distal phalanges, as well as the width and height: the bases, body and heads (distal tuberosity) phalanges of fingers of the hand were studied on 150 skeletons of adult men and women hands at the age 21-90 years old. Results. The correlation between the length of proximal phalanges and pulse- high-rise parameters of proximal, medium and distal phalanges of 2-5th fingers of hand was determined. Conclusion. The length of the proximal phalange forms a different strength and direction of the correlation. The lengths of the proximal phalanges have a positive direction of moderate strength with all parameters of middle phalanges and the average degree of correlation with the length of the distal phalanges, the width of its base and the body.

The object of the study included 242 students from Saratov State Medical University, 17—19 years. Foot digital plantography photometric device-software complex «Plantvizor» and measuring distances between sibling points of lower extremities to highlight their forms have been used as a method of research. Results. 8 forms of lower extremities, among which half per cent occurs in isolated form, valgus-direct from the mil-lennim clearance opening and a trapezoidal shape of lower extremities varus. In all forms of lower extremities morphometric parameters of feet and ratio of statistically significant differences in various forms of lower extremities have been studied. Conclusion. Anatomical basis for operational adjustment of axial disorders of tibiae and its influence on morphofunctional state of foot can be resulted from the study.

Anterior cerebral artery variants according to individually-typological and combined variabilities of its morphological and biomechanical features

Year: 2013, volume 9 Issue: №1 Pages: 28-33
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: Fomkina О.A., Nikolenko V.N.
Organization: First Moscow State Medical University n.a. I.M. Sechenov, Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The purpose of the article is to define variants of anterior cerebral artery (АСА) of adults depending on typological and combined variability of its morphological and biomechanical features. Material and methods: The research has included 228 samples of anterior cerebral arteries, 115 corpses of people aged 21-84 years received on autopsy. The following points have been under the research: external and internal diameters, wall thickness, general strength, strength range, absolute and relative deformation of an artery. Results: According to the studied parameters 3 groups of variants of arteries have been allocated: with average size of a sign (M±s), with lesser size of a sign ( M + s). Combined variability of morphological and biomechanical features of АСА has been presented. Conclusion: АСА groups with higher variability, especially at men, have been observed in 2,2-2,6 times more often, than at women. As exception, thin-walled АСА which in 1,7 times more often taped at women have been considered. It has been revealed that subjects of alternative group III in 1,2-1,7 times older than those of alternative group I of arteries. Age of subjects who have been classified according to biomechanical parameters of АСА wall has been approximately identical (r=0,28-0,51). The experimentally received data about morphological, deforming and strengthening features may be of great value in studying of blood flow modeling and in optimization of intravascular interventions on cerebral arteries.
