THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SUBCLINICAL HYPOTHYROIDISM AND ITS SUBSTITUTIONAL THERAPY INFLUENCE ON DEVELOPMENT OF CARDIOVASCULAR PATHOLOGY

This review presents the modern data concerning influence ofsubclinicalhypothyroidism on morphology and functional state of myocardium and arterial vessels, traditional and "new" cardiovascular risk factors. The riskof clinically significant complications (cardiovascular diseases, disorders ofhemostasis and changes in lipidexchange) connected with subclinical hypothyroidism is under research.
