CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION DEVELOPMENT IN PENITENTIARY SYSTEM OFFICERS

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №4 Pages: 82-85
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Original article
Authors: A.Skriptsova, Yu.G. Schvartz
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

In this article the authors present the results of research on the appearance, prevalence and fisk factors of pre-hypertension and arterial hypertension in young PS offiscers. Hereby we highlight the high frequency of new hypertension cases among young officers in a year of service. We have found the inverse relation of PH ahd AH cases quantity to the erythrocyte quantities and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) numbers.

PECULIARITIES OF CARDIAC SEPTUM MOVEMENT IN ATRIOVENTRICULAR JUNCTION AREA IN PATIENTS WITH PERSISTING ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №4 Pages: 79-82
Heading: Internal Diseases Article type: Original article
Authors: N.S. Akimova, L.I. Kuznetsova, E.V. Parhonyuk. Yu.G. Shvartz
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The aim is to stuty specific features of myocardium movement in atrioventricular junction area in patients with associated persistent atrial fibrillation using the Doppler Tissue Imaging (DTI)-mode echocardiography. To our understanding, the results obtained validate fiber changes in atrioventricular junction area at the time of atrial fibrillation, revealed during morphologic studies, and prove DTI diagnostic technique efficiency.

CLINICO-DIAGNOSTIC IMPORTANCE OF NITRIC OXIDE SYNTHASE POSITIVE CELLS OF GINGIVAL TISSUES AND STOMACH IN PATIENTS WITH PERIODONTAL DISEASES AND PEPTIC DUODENAL ULCER

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №4 Pages: 73-76
Heading: Stomatology Article type: Original article
Authors: Lepilin A.V., Ostrovskaya L.Yu., Karabushina Ya.G., Islamova E.A.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Clinical features of inflammatory periodontal diseases in patients with peptic duodenal ulcer were studied. The severity if inflammatory periodontal diseases increases according to hyperplasia of nitric oxide synthase producing epithelial cells of gingival. It was shown, that the increasing of quantity of nitric oxide synthase-like cells of gingival and stomach is a risk factor of associated development of inflammatory periodontal diseases and peptic duodenal ulcer. Results of morphometrical analysis of nitric oxide synthase-like cells of gingival can be used to verify the degree of severity and effectiveness of therapy of periodontal diseases.
Key words: periodontits, gingivitis, peptic duodenal ulcer, nitric oxide synthase.

FREQUENCY AND STRUCTURE OF CONGENITAL MALFORMATIONS IN CHILDREN OF SARATOV REGION

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №4 Pages: 63-69
Heading: Obstetrics and Gynecology Article type: Original article
Authors: L.P. Andreeva
Organization: Saratov Regional Children Clinical Hospital
Summary:

Congenital defects monitoring of Saratov region newborns has estimated the overall rate of congenital malformations, population anomalies rate of obligatory registration, as well as the frequency of lethal neonate defects. The data obtained have revealed that 25% of neonatal deaths are either directly or indirectly due to congenital malformations. Thus, one of the actual ways of neonatal mortality and disability reduction is congenital malformations prophylaxis.

THE TOPICAL QUESTIONS OF DRUG THERAPY OF THE ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION: RILMENIDIN IS IN THE FOCUS OF ATTENTION

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №4 Pages: 61-62
Heading: Clinical Pharmacology Article type: Original article
Authors: N.N. Komarov
Organization: Ministry of Health of Orenburg Region
Summary:

The study is dedicated to the topical problem of cardiology – arterial hypertension and it’s treatment. Diagnostics and treatment of this desease is not well performed yet in spite of the considerable number of hypotensive drugs recommended. Research demonstrates thr effct of treatment of the kind of patients with a new selective imidazoline receptors agonist rilmenidine. The sufficient hypotensive effect of this preparation is a accompanied by the typical for this class of drugs side effects. Thr better tolerance and effectiveness of rilmenidine allow to administer it to patients with metabolic changes (metabolic syndrome X and diabetes mellitus type 2 along with arterial hypertension).
