Summary:

Clinical features of inflammatory periodontal diseases in patients with peptic duodenal ulcer were studied. The severity if inflammatory periodontal diseases increases according to hyperplasia of nitric oxide synthase producing epithelial cells of gingival. It was shown, that the increasing of quantity of nitric oxide synthase-like cells of gingival and stomach is a risk factor of associated development of inflammatory periodontal diseases and peptic duodenal ulcer. Results of morphometrical analysis of nitric oxide synthase-like cells of gingival can be used to verify the degree of severity and effectiveness of therapy of periodontal diseases.
Key words: periodontits, gingivitis, peptic duodenal ulcer, nitric oxide synthase.
