THE PECULIARITIES OF AUTONOMOUS NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDER IN CHILDREN WITH DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE I AND APPROACHES FOR ITS CORRECTION

Summary:

The state of autonomous nervous system in children with diabetes mellitus type I was studied. Autonomous dysfunction was found in 86% of patients, regardless the duration and severeness of the disease. Cardiac autonomic neuropathy was revealed in 41% children. All of them had the deterioration of general condition, activity and mood. Usage of transcranial magnitotherapy has resulted in normalization of autonomous nervous system tone, reactivity, activity of subcortical nervous centers, increase of the number of children with stable regulation. Besides, there was the improvement of cardiac autonomic neuropathy indices, and normalization of psychological status of patients.
